Objective:To study the clinical value of fast-track surgery(FTS) theoryin application of acute abdomen surgery.Methods:136patients treated by surgery with acute cholecystitis、acuteappenditis and the upper digestive tract perforation were randomized dividedinto2groups respectively. FTS theory was used in FTS group, and the controlgroup received traditional perioperative therapy. Those in the FTS groupunderwent optimization included preoperative oral carbohydrate withoutnasogastric decompressive tube and urinary canal;intraoperative temperaturemaintenance, transfusion control and disuse of abdominal drainage;earlypostoperative mobilization, oral feeding and potent analgesia, etc.Afteroperation, the time of bowel flatus, taking meals and out of bed movement, hospital stay and hospital cost, and complications were compared. The changeof CRP, IL-6, TNF-a, Procalcitonin(PCT) in blood during perioperativeperiod were checked and compared. Results:After operation, the time of bowel flatus, taking meals and outof bed movement, hospital stay in FTS group were significantly shorter thanthose in control group (P<0.05).Hospital cost in FTS group was also lowerthan that in control group (P<0.05). There were no postoperativecomplications in both groups. The rise amplitude of CRP, IL-6, TNF-a,Procalcitonin in blood in FTS group was smaller than that in control group infirst24h,and after72hours the level of CRP, IL-6, TNF-a, Procalcitonin inblood was close to the level of preoperation in FTS group. Conclusions: FTS theory in application of acute abdomen surgery issafe.Economical and effective. Also it can shorten hospitalization time, reduce hospital costs, and promote recovery....
