A Clinical Observation Of Treating ROD By Applying The Theory Of Notifying Kidney And Producing Marrow And Strengthening Bones,Then Analyzing The Early Pathogenic Factors

Objectives:This article we take was to observe the clinical observation of treating Renal osteodystrophy(ROD) by applying the theory of notifying kidney,producing marrow and strengthening bones,and also to investigate the early pathogenic factors.Methods:64patients who have been diagnosed with CKD3,4and discriminated for kidney deficiency and Weak bones were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group(32cases) and the control group(32cases). After the basic treatment(controlling blood pressure and blood glucose,correcting acid-base imbalance etc),the control group were only given with Calcitriol Soft Capsules, while the treatment group were given with integrated treatment of Calcitriol Soft Capsules and Chinese herbs.After8weeks’treatment,in both groups patients’serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen,glomerular filtration rate,calcium,phosphorus,parathyr-oid hormone were analyzed.The total score and TCM syndrome score before and after the treatment were evaluated the comprehensive effect.All these data were analysed with SPSS17.0.Results:①In both groups there were improved obviously before and after the therapy in some respects (P<0.05) including improving the kidney function elevating blood calcium,reducing the level of blood phosphorus and parathyroid hormone etc.and the improvement in treatment group was much better than that in control group (P<0.01);②The TCM symptoms score decreased in both groups after8-week treatment (P<0.05) and the scores of treatment group decrease more(P<0.01);③the total effective rate of treatment group was84.4%, and comparing with the control group(56.3%) there was a significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusion:The prescription of Renal-failure strengthening-bones had advantages in the aspects of improving TCM symptoms, increasing blood calcium.and reducing blood phosphorus and parathyroid hormone levels.The Chinese herbs slowed the progress of renal bone disease.not only that but improved survival quality and reduced the incidence of complications and mortality,deserving further clinical research.
