ObjectiveTo study the expression of FOXA1in invasive breast cancer and its correlation withmolecular subtypes and prognosis, Explore whether FOXA1expression can be used as anovel biomarker and independent prognostic factor, whether it can give a new target fortherapy of breast cancer.Materials and methodsTo investigate the diagnosis by the hospital between molecular subtypes andprognosis of two hundred and eight cases of invasive breast cancer. Usingimmunohistochemistry and ER, PR, HER2antibody panel staining, CK5/6, Ki-67andFOXA1and refers to previous reports.ResultsER, PR, HER2, CK5/6and FOXA1in69%,45%,57%,27%and27%were detected, respectively. All patients were divided into five groups, with Rumina54%, luminal B21%,HER2+7%,10%and8%cases of basal like unclassied. The expression of FOXA1and age(P=0.018), size(P=0.001), no lymph node metastasis(P=0.006) and clinical stagingof the lower(P<0.001). Associations were found for FOXA1expression and overallsurvival(P<0.001). The results show that, A group and the best prognosis but basal likethe worst single factor group analysis. We also found and expression, a group of FOXA1and lumen. Multivariate analysis showed that, menstrual status and immunohistochemicalsubtypes associated with overall survival. Expression were not independently predictive ofsurvival of the FOXA1P=0.094). In the organization of these subtypes of menstrual status, histological grade and lymph node status is different.ConclusionAccording to the expression of ER, PR, HER2, expression of CK5/6and Ki-67, breast cancer can be divided into five subgroups with different biological characteristics andprognosis. A new biological marker FOXA1possible to luminal A subtype. In a low riskof breast cancer prognosis FOXA1in treatment decision making ability is useful.
