Research On The TCM Journals Chinese Feminine Physicians During The Peirod Of The Republic Of China

The monthly magazine Chinese Feminine Physicians was issued on the lanternfestival in1941,which was founded by Chinese female doctor society,andsuffered from suspension of publication in October of that year.This journalwas the first journal of TCM, which was founded,edited and issued by femaleherbalist doctor(FHD) during the period of Republic of China, and most of itsreaders were female.The aim of this journal was to propagandize thewomen-doctor group and develop the spirit of them,which has made greatcontribution to the academic experience communication of women-doctor,andpopularizing the medical knowledge on women.During the period of Republic ofChina,an thriving era for FHD,Chinese Feminine Physicians played an importantrole in propagandizing and developing the FHD,and also provided an importantplatform for communication, inheritance and development of FHD,which has anunique value and significance in the process of historical development ofPHD.In this paper,author mainly used medical history and philologymethod,through systematic research and study of the content,founder andeditor-group of this journal and in accordance with the background study ofthe economy,politics and culture,summarized the background of ChineseFeminine Physicians,and the success pattern and academic characteristics ofFHD,as well the contribution and character of Chinese FemininePhysicians,which provide reference for the development of contemporary FHD.
