| Objective:The aim is to observe the clinical efficacy of benefiting qi forstrengthening resistance in the treatment of Spontaneous Pneumothorax and investigate theunderlying mechanism.Methods: In accordance with the randomized and controlled principles,a total of60patients met the inclusive criteria were divided in two groups,30cases in the experimentalgroup and30cases in the control group.The control group take the conventional westernmedical therpy.Patients in the experimental group are treated with conventional westernmedical therpy plus chinese medicine of benefiting Qi for strengthening resistance.Thechinese medicine is based on Bu Fei Tang,decoction300ml,dranking moderatepostprandiall half-hour morning and evening,daily one. Synthetic effect in patients,time ofremoving the drainage tube,days of hospitalization and recurrence rate in two groups werecompared before and after treatment.The results were statistically analyzed.Result: There is no difference between two groups in clinical efficacy.However,difference of removing the drainage tube time,hospitalized days and recurrence rate arestatistically significant and the experimental group is better than the control group.Conclusion:Benefiting qi for strengthening resistance combining with conventionalwestern medical therpy can reduce the recurrence of spontaneous pneumothorax, promotelung recruitment and pleural rupture healing and Shorten the hospitalization time. Themechanism may be related to that the drugs can regulate the immunity, enhance physicalfitness, improve the body’s ability to adapt to stress and ability to avoid airtrapping,effectively prevent the formation of bullae,improve the microcirculation,protectvascular endothelial cells,enhance hematopoietic function and promote the proliferation and repair of the injury site. |
