The Therapeutic Evaluation Of The Combined Therapy Of Jinlong Capsule And Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization In The Treatment Of Hepatic Metastasis Of Colonic Carcinoma

Objective: Using Jinlong Capsule combined with transcatheter arterialchemoembolization (TACE) to treat patients with liver metastases of colorectalcancer, the treatment effect was observed and the quality of life of patients, immunefunction of patients and adverse reactions of the combined therapy was assessedafter the treatment.Methods: The selected46patients with liver metastases of colorectal cancer wererandomly divided into a combined therapy group (23cases) and a pure TACEtreatment group (23cases). The pure TACE treatment group only took TACEtreatment. The combined therapy group took JLC combined with transcatheterarterial chemoembolization (TACE) to treat the patients. After treatment of threemonths, the differences between the combined therapy group and the pure TACEtreatment group in the tumor volume variation, immune function, quality of life andadverse reactions were analyzed.Results:1.Although the treatment efficiency of the combined therapy group ishigher than the one of the pure TACE treatment group, and the difference was notstatistically significant (P>0.05); The progression rate of the combined therapygroup is lower than the one of the pure TACE treatment group, the difference wasstatistically significant (P>0.05);2.After two groups were treated with appropriatetreatment, quality of life scores in the combined therapy group were significantlyhigher than those in the pure TACE treatment group, and the difference wasstatistically significant (P<0.05).3. After treatment of3months, the patient’s immunefunction is examined again. The immune function of the combined therapy groupcompared with the one of the pure TACE treatment group obtained significantly improved, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).4.Taking safetyevaluation about Jinlong Capsule combined with TACE, we found some generaladverse reactions due to the hepatic artery chemoembolization, and we didn’t foundin other more serious adverse reactions.Conclusion: The combined therapy of Jinlong capsule and TACE providedprofound joint effort, improved patients’life quality, strengthened body’s immunefunction，as well as staved off tumor progression.
