objective:The clinical manifestations of primary gastrointestinal lymphoma (PGIL)are nonspecific,it isdifficult to be distinguished from other gastrointestinal disease, which results in frequent misdiagnosis.Thestandard therapy regimen for PGIL is uncertain. This study was to analyze the clinical characteristics andfactors which associated with prognosis in order to improve the understanding of the disease. Methods:The medical records of31PGIL Patients in the first affiliated hospital of the medicine collegeShihezi university from jan.2006to dec.2012were analyzed retrospectively. Survival rate calculated withKaplan-Meier method. Prognostic factors such as gender (male, female), age (>50years old,≤50yearsold), Whether have B group of symptoms, whether have operation, clinical stages (early and late group)may be analyzed.Single factor were analyzed by log-rank test. Multiple factors were analyzed by Coxproportional hazards regression model. Results:Clinicopathologic data about31PGILPatients(17males and14females)at the median age of64years(range23-89years)were retrospectivel analyzed. Lesions mainly located in the stomach. The mainclinical manifestations of PGIL were as follows:abdominal distention, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, abdominal mass, Melena, emaciation, anemia, fever, perforation, obstruction, diarrhea, etc. there were12cases which diagnosised by Histopathological examinationf were diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL),8cases which diagnosised by Histopathological examinationf were mucosa-associated lymphoidtissue extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma (MALT lymphoma),11cases of unknown type. log-ranktest revealed that:The differences of l-year,3-year survival rate between male and female group didn,t hadstatistical significance(P﹥0.05).>50-year-old group1-year survival rate was48.9%,≤50years of agegroup1year,3-year survival rates were71.6%,35.8%, the difference was not statistical significance (P>0.05); The differences of l-year,3-year survival rate between have B group of symptoms and have not Bgroup of symptoms didn,t had statistical significance(P﹥0.05). The differences of l-year,3-year survivalrate between Surgical and non-surgical treatment group didn’t had statistical significance(P﹥0.05). Thedifferences of l-year survival rate between early group (stage I+stage II) and late group (stage III+stageIV) had statistical significance (P <0.05). Multivariate analysis showed: clinical stage was independentprognostic factor.Cone1us1on: The incidence of primary gastrointestinal lymphoma is low Lack of specificity of clinicalmanifestations of the disease, so clinical misdiagnosis rate is higher.Stage is close related withprognosis, that is to say, the sooner clinical stages, the better the prognosis.
