Objective:To retrospective analyze the clinical value of narrowband imaging (NBI) combined with chromoendoscopyin early gastric cancer screening.Methods:Cases from January2007to April2008(the White light endoscopy case) and January2009to May2012(the NBI combined with Chromoendoscopy case) were retrospectively analyzed, recorded the results ofendoscopic diagnosis and pathological diagnosis, the sex distribution of cases using chi-square test, the agedistribution using the Wilcoxon rank sum test, Pathological diagnosis was used as the gold standard. Thedetection rate of early gastric cancer between NBI and Chromoendoscopy using chi-square test.Results:The White light endoscopy case(n=5071), male(n=2826,55.73%), female(n=2245,44.27%), the NBIcombined with Chromoendoscopy case(n=4680), male(n=2572,54.96%), female(n=2108,45.04%). Nostatistical difference in the sex distribution. In the White light endoscopy case, the average age is63.8±11.9, the average age of male is65.1±11.2, the average age of female is59.4±12.9; in the NBI combinedwith Chromoendoscopy case, the average age is66.0±12.0, the average age of male is66.9±11.8, theaverage age of female is.63.2±12.4. No statistical difference in the age distribution. In the White lightendoscopy case,312cases is gastric cancer, the detection rate is6.15%,33cases is high-gradeintraepithelial neoplasia or moderate to severe atypical hyperplasia, the detection rate is0.65%;all of thedetection rate is6.80%. In the NBI combined with Chromoendoscopy case,521cases is gastric cancer,the detection rate is11.13%,52cases is high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia or moderate to severe atypicalhyperplasia, the detection rate is1.11%;all of the detection rate is12.24%. There are differences of thedetection rate of early gastric cancer between the White light endoscopy and the NBI combined withChromoendoscopy.Explained that the detection rate of early gastric cancer of the NBI combined withChromoendoscopy is better than the White light endoscopy.Conclusions NBI combined with Chromoendoscopy may improve the diagnostic accuracy of earlygastric cancer.
