Objective:By comparing the efficacy of two therapeutic schemes of ORIF and MIPO,to study the effect of the difference between ORIF and MIPO in the treatment of humeralshaft fracture. Provide ideas for better treatment of humeral shaft fracture. Methods:Retrospective analysis of53patients with humeral shaft fracture who weretreated in our hospital from October2011to May2013.According surgery divided intoORIF group (n=29) and MIPO group (n=24),The former is the traditional open reductionand internal fixation methods,The latter adopts the MIPO methods minimally invasiveinternal fixation with plate.Record two groups of patients operative time, blood loss, fracture healing time, complications.Using SPSS12.0software for statistical dataprocessing. Results:ORIF group and MIPO groups in operative time, blood loss, healing time, postoperative Constant score, the difference was significant (P <0.05).There is nosignificant difference in the hospital stay, Infection, radial nerve palsy, operationcomplications, delayed healing, nonunion, malunionand postoperative Mayo score(P>0.05);Conclusions:Compared with traditional ORIF,MIPO has the advantage of having asmall iatrogenic surgical trauma, less blood loss, shorter operative time, fracture healingadvantages; lower possible injury the radial nerve. With the operation of higher safetyoperation, fewer complications, postoperative patients with good functional recovery, MIPO is a worthwhile and effective treatment for a wide range of applications.
