Observation Of Immediate Effect In Treating Hypertension Of Hyperactivity Of Liver Yang Type By Auricular Apex Bloodletting

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of auricular apexbloodletting in treating hypertension of hyperactivity of liver yang type.Toprovide the basis and method of the prevention and treatment forhypertension.Methods:The60patients were randomly divided into two groups: theauricular apex bloodletting group and the acupuncture group,30cases in eachgroup. Observe and record the changes of blood pressure and syndrome beforethe treatment and immediately after the treatment and10min after thetreatment and30min after the treatment and60min after the treatment of eachgroup. And utilize statistical methods to analyze.Results:1.Auricular apex bloodletting therapy and acupuncture therapy both haveimmediate effect in lowering blood pressure. There were statisticaldifferences in blood pressure between60minutes after treatment and beforetreatment in both groups (P<0.05).2.Auricular apex bloodletting therapy and acupuncture therapy can bothlower the blood pressure of patients of hyperactivity of Liver Yang type in60minutes. In auricular apex bloodletting group, there were statisticaldifferences in systolic pressure between10minutes after treatment and before treatment (P<0.01); In acupuncture group, there were statisticaldifferences in diastolic pressure between30minutes after treatment andbefore treatment (P<0.01)3.Auricular apex bloodletting therapy is more useful for clinicalapplication.Auricular apex bloodletting therapy is more simple,convenientand cheap than acupuncture therapy.The patient also feel more comfortable.Sothe ear apex bloodletting therapy is more suitable for clinical application.Conclusion: Auricular apex bloodletting therapy and acupuncture therapyboth have immediate effect in treating hypertension of hyperactivity of liveryang type.Auricular apex bloodletting therapy is more simple andconvenient,it can be used as a adjuvant therapy in treating hypertension.
