| Hypertension, coronary heart disease and atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular disease seriously threat to human health. Hypertension was closely related with the occurrence of atherosclerosis, exorbitant serum total cholesterol (TC) was the main risk factor of induce atherosclerosis, meanwhile serum triglyceride (TG) content too high or high density lipoprotein (HDL-C) too low was also thought to the risk factor of atherosclerosis.This study take rats serum TC, TG and HDL-C levels and atherosclerosis index (AI) and weight, liver and body weight ratio and spleen and body weight ratio as evaluation indicator, and make use of hyperlipidemia animal model to evaluate the hypolipidemic effect of royal jelly and royal jelly protein. The main experimental contents and results as follow:1. Establishment of rats hyperlipidemia animal model:rats were fed with high-fat diet, high-fat diet formula as follow:rat basic diet78.8%, lard oil10%, yolk power10%, cholesterol1%, cholate0.2%(w/w). After feeding4weeks, blood samples were collected and blood fat were assayed. If serum TC, TG levels significantly increased and HDL-C level significantly reduced, compared with normal rats, the establishment of hyperlipidemia animal model was successful.2. The research of hypolipidemic of royal jelly:the experiment rats were divided into five groups in total, the normal control group, the model control group, the royal jelly low dose group (0.5g/kg), the royal jelly middle dose group (1.0g/kg) and the royal jelly high dose group (1.5g/kg), respectively. In addition to the normal control group, all the other groups rats were hyperlipidemia rats. The normal control group rats were fed with rat basic diet, and other groups rats were fed with high-fat diet. Meanwhile, the normal control group and the model control group rats were given a gavage of fresh water, the other groups rats were given a gavage of corresponding dose of royal jelly, administered for4weeks continuously. Results:royal jelly was able to significantly reduce serum TC and TG levels and improve serum HDL-C level, restrain the AI value rise, cut down the body, liver and spleen weight increase. Thus royal jelly can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, and to prevent diseade such as obesity and fatty liver. Contrast royal jelly low, middle and high dose groups experiment data, it come to a conclusion that the royal jelly middle dose (1.0g/kg) was the best dose of Hypolipidemic.3. The research of hypolipidemic of royal jelly protein:the experiment rats were divided into nine groups in total, the normal control group, the model control group, the royal jelly group (1.0g/kg), the royal jelly protein low dose group (0.066g/kg), the royal jelly middle dose group (0.132g/kg), the royal jelly high dose group (0.198g/kg), the royal jelly lipid low dose group (0.032g/kg), the royal jelly lipid middle dose group (0.064g/kg), the royal jelly lipid high dose group (0.096g/kg), respectively. In addition to the normal control group, all the other groups rats were hyperlipidemia rats. The normal control group rats were fed with rat basic diet, and other groups rats were fed with high-fat diet. Meanwhile, the normal control group and the model control group rats were given a gavage of fresh water, the other groups rats were given a gavage of corresponding dose of royal jelly, royal jelly protein and royal jelly lipid. To administered for4weeks continuously. Results:royal jelly protein was able to significantly reduce serum TC and TG levels and improve serum HDL-C level, restrain the AI value rise, cut down the body, liver and spleen weight increase. And a certain dose royal jelly protein has similar effect with royal jelly, while royal jelly lipid didn’t show significant hypolipidemic effect. Therefore, royal jelly protein played a main role in hypolipidemic effect of royal jelly. |
