Obective: The research aims to explore the distribution rules of constitution ofTCM on anterior circulation infarction and its relationship with anterior circulationcerebral artery atherosclerotic stenosis. Besides, it also study the distribution ofcommon risk factors in cerebral artery atherosclerotic stenosis. As a result, it canprovides a theoretical basis for treatments according to constitution of TCM.Method: We investigated140patients with anterior circulation infarction, all ofwhom have a course of6months or less. We record general information and commonrisk factors of every patient, and determine their constitute of TCM. All the patientsimprove intracranial and extracranial vascular examination, including DSA or CTA toknow the distribution of cerebral artery atherosclerotic stenosis. Finally all the data areanalyzed by SPSS17.0.Result: Anterior circulation infarction patients has three most commonconstitutions: qi deficiency, phlegm, blood stasis. The study has shown that thedifferences of constitutions are not statistically significant in the distribution of anteriorcirculation cerebral artery stenosis. The occurrence rate of anterior circulation cerebralartery stenosis is different between different constitutions. Different constitutions hasdifferent proportion in the degree of anterior circulation cerebral artery stenosis, andthe difference is significant. The patients with phlegm, blood stasis suffer heaviestcerebral artery stenosis. Univariate analysis reveals that risk factors of anteriorcirculation cerebral artery stenosis include hypertension, diabetes, coronary heartdisease, hyperlipidemia. Conclusion: The occurrence rate of anterior circulation cerebral artery stenosis is different between different constitutions. Phlegm and blood stasis constitutions aredangerous ones to suffer anterior circulation cerebral artery atherosclerotic stenosis.Different constitutions have different proportion in the degree of anterior circulationcerebral artery stenosis. The patients with phlegm, blood stasis suffer heaviest cerebralartery stenosis. The independent risk factors of anterior circulation cerebral arterystenosis include hypertension, diabetes, coronary heart disease, hyperlipidemia.
