| Purpose: To clinically observe the curative effects of Yaotuitongning capsule treatmenton knee osteoarthritis and comprehensively evaluate the effects by a scientific and statisticalanalysis.Method: Sixty patients with knee osteoarthritis were chosen and randomly divided intothe treatment group of oral Yaotuitongning capsule and the control group of oral capsule spur.Before receiving one-month treatment patients in each group were received the symptomassessment, and their symptoms, signs as well as complications were recoded after thetreatment. Referring to the the Chinese Medicine Clinical Research Guidelines, the researchcollected the statistics of both groups’ main symptoms before and after the treatment, made acontrast between the two groups and a contrast in each group before and after the treatment,assessed the final efficiency with Nimodipine method, and processed the results statistically.Result: After the treatment, both the treatment group of oral Yaotuitongning capsule andthe control group of oral gucining capsule revealed obvious difference （P＜0.01）comparedwith that before the treatment. The general effective rate of the treatment group wassignificantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.01).Conclusion: The comprehensive evaluation made by the observation of the efficacy oforal treatment Yaotuitongning capsule on knee osteoarthritis, shows that the traditionalChinese medicine prescription, Yaotuitongning capsule, is particularly effective in the clinicaltreatment of knee osteoarthritis. |
