The Detection Of RV-IgG Antibody In Serum Of Pregnant Women And The Analysis Of Its Susceptibility

Rubella is an acute respiratory infection，which is spread by the air. Itsincubation period is very long.The syndrome is much like the syndrome that is infectedin the upper respiratory tract at first. So this disease often comes on very hiddenly andsyndrome in most people is self-limited.It often occurs in spring and winter. Rubella isone of the global public diseases and is prevalent generally and periodically all over theworld, about once per5-9years. RV（Rubella virus） is generally susceptible to all thepeople,however, the mankind is the only host of RV. Rubella can be spread by the airand contacted indirectly by one another.Rubella often occurs among the childhood forthe sake of characteristic that they often get together and easily transmitting amongthem.What’s more worried about is that once the rubella virus infects the pregnancywomen, It will have a profound negative impact, such as fetal intrauterine infection,stillbirth, spontaneous abortion and known as CRS(Congenital rubellasyndromes),which will bring great spiritual heart and economic burden to family andsociety. It has been reported that there are80-120million children born with defects everyyear, and CRS accounted for a part of them. Although our country had put the MMR(Measles，Mumps and Rubella)vaccine into the national immunization programs inDecember,2007. Rubella occurs in some places of our country now and then.So far in ourcountry there haven’t been special surveillance of Rubella and CRS until2009.In2009several smaller surveillance vaccines of Rubella and CRS was founded by MOH andWHO. Therefore, until now there haven’t such dates that have something to thecoverage of RV vaccine and the level of RV IgG antibody. So now we are facing theproblem that whether the coverage of RV vaccine and the level of RV IgG antibody canblock the occurrence of RV and CRS, which needs us to establish such special monitoringsystem. There are such articles all over the world reporting that the feather of thesusceptibility to RV at the childbearing age has changed in recent years, which is to saythat the elder women of childbearing age are more susceptible to RV. There isn’t suchdata that is very sophisticated and systematic on the susceptibility of the pregnant womento RV in our country.The experiment appointed by National Institute for Viral DiseaseControl and Prevention is to extract the umbilical cord blood of the new born to detect RVantibody levels and to evaluate the susceptibility of the women in pregnant women to RV. Objective:From1January to4April2014the level of antibody IgG of RV in the umbilicalcord blood of the new born was extracted when the women at childbearing age weredelived in the department of the obstetric in the second hospital of Jilin universityobstetric delivery, then the level of antibody IgG of RV of pregnant women’s serumwould be indirectedly detected. So we can assess and analysis the susceptibility of thechildbearing age women to rubella virus and put forward some proposals to immuneprevention strategies.Methods:①Adopting randomly selected method,376umbilical cord blood which camefrom the new born was collected when the pregnant women aged from19to45weredelivered in the department of the obstetric of our hospital from January to April2014.There was2-3ml fetal umbilical cord blood extracted respectively，a total of376copys，centrifuged and taked the upper serum. Then we kept them stored in therefrigerator at-20℃. We would test the level of rubella antibody totally.②By the way of indirect enzyme-linked immune sorbent experiment method(ELISA) to detect rubella antibody levels, we put the results of the experiment data inthe Excel worksheets of2010version and use SPSS16.0statistical software toanalysis the possible influencing factors.Results:①The25-30years group had the least susceptility in all the year groups，whosesusceptility of RV among the women of childbearing age is7.64%。In contrast，thetwo other is respectively19.15%and16.28%。The total susceptility of rubellaantibody among the women of childbearing age was13.03%②T he positiverate of rubella has something to do with the distribution of urbancities and rural places.③The positive rate of rubella among the women at childbearing age in Changchunhas changed in recent years. But on the whole we found that the women at childbearingage aged19-24and31-45years old are more susceptible to RV.
