| Objective: Observe the clinical effect of early application of wIRA and drugs inthe treament of acute phase of herpes zoster.Materials and methods:110outpatient and inpatient in our hospital whosuffered from shingles from Jue.2014to Dec.2014were selected as volunteers. Theywere decided into2groups, one is the experimental group consisted by56volunteers,the other is the control group, which is consisted by the rest54volunteers.Volunteers in the experimental group were irradiated by wIRA, combined withpenciclovir0.25g. v. bid, pregabalin75mg. po.bid. and cobamamide1.5mg. m.qd.Volunteers in the control group were treated by the same method except theirradiation by wIRA. Symptoms and signs of herpes zoster patients were comparedbetween these two groups during and after treatment. They were be observed once aday during the course of7days, and were followed on the30th and60th days on thephone, for the observation of the sequel. Adverse reactions were all recorded.Results: Comparison between two groups is as follows: The begining of painrelief of the experimental group (the3.13th day) is earlier than which of the controlgroup (the4.03th day). The level of pain relief of the experimental group (5.73points) is higher than which of the control group (4.13points). The times of responseand scab form of the experimental group (respectively2.62days and3.16days) areshorter than which of the control group (respectively3.12days and5.02days). Theneuralgia rate of the experimental group (5.36%) is lower than which of the controlgroup (18.52%). With good tolerance and compliance, all the110volunteers werefree of untoward effect.Conclusion:1. WIRA had an advantage over the time to ease of pain and thedegree of pain relief in the treatment of acute phase of herpes zoster.2.WIRA hadshorter check blister and scabby time in the treatment of acute phase of acute herpes.3. The wIRA treating acute phase of herpes zoster can reduce the incidence of heritage neuralgia. |
