The Effect Of "j" Shape Of Double-lumen Endotracheal Tube On The Success Rate Of Intubation And Postoperative Hoarseness And Sore Throat

Objective:To observe the success rate of intubation of shaping double-lumenendotracheal tube （DLT） and postoperative hoarseness, sore throat, andto seek better DLT shaping provides the basis for intubation.Methods:One hundred and sixty patients of ASAⅠ~Ⅲ with elective thoracicsurgery under general anesthesia, randomly divided into the shape groupand the no shape group to intubate DLT（n=80）. Each group according toeach DLT is divided into two groups（group A, B, C, D, n=40）, andaccording to gender and each is divided into two subgroups（group A1,A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, D1, D2, n=20）. Two groups all use bright tracheaintubation through the mouth, shape group adopts the "J" shape of DLT.The data related to intubation and positioning is recorded: intubation time,intubation attempts and the situation of reversing, the incidence andseverity of postoperative hoarseness and sore throat is assessed.Results:The intubation time of patients in two groups is（154±6）s and（185±13）s respectively, intubation attempts of patients in two groupsare（1.4±0.4）times and（1.7±0.8）times respectively, and times ofreversing of patients in two groups are3times and11times respectively.Comparing between the two groups for intubation time, intubationattempts and the situation of reversing, shape group are less than the noshape group（P＜0.05）, and that has nothing to do with gender, but the left DLT than the right is easy to reverse（P＜0.05）. The incidence ofpostoperative hoarseness in two groups is15/80and33/80respectively,the incidence of postoperative sore throat in two groups is15/80and31/80respectively. The incidence of postoperative hoarseness and sorethroat, the shape group sets lower than the no shape group overall（P＜0.05）, and is associated with gender.Conclusions:"J" shape DLT intubation has the higher success rate and the smallerstimulation, can reduce the incidence of patients with postoperativehoarseness, sore throat, and has a certain clinical significance.
