Objective: To better elucidate the psychological, behavioral status (including therecent negative emotions, the pressure of recent working and economic, therelationship with family and the self-evaluation of health status, smoking, drinking,surfing, athletics, fast food) of the target population and the health level of maleurogenital system in this region so as to explore the correlation with psychological,behavioral status and provides the scientific interventions of improving the health ofmen in this region.Methods: A total of4,000reproductive age male employee were selected byrandom cluster sampling. The date was collected by adopting the self-madequestionnaire and physical examination with all be informed. The questionnaire namedHubei province of Yichang Three gorges region of child-bearing age male reproductivehealth survey included the characteristics of sociology of the target population, therecent negative emotions, the relationship with family, the self-evaluation of healthstatus, smoking, drinking, sufferin, athletics, fast food and so on. While thequestionnaire named Hubei province of Yichang Three gorges region of child-bearingage male reproductive physical examination survey was operated by Yiling Hospital.The content included organizing the interrogation and physical examination.Interrogation content mainly included the situations of waist aches or sustained severepain, micturition abnormal (frequent urination, urgency urination, incontinenceurination and urinary urination), the perineum anal pain and discomfort. Physicalexamination content mainly included routine physical check, reproductive surgerycheck, prostate fluid routine inspection, prostate ultrasound, Blood lipid and glucosebiochemical indexes. The database of these collected questionnaires and the hospitalexamination information were established by EpiData3.1. Statistical analysis wasconducted by Spss19.0to explore the correlation with psychological status and provides the scientific interventions of improving the health of men in this region.Results: In these3,933subjects who had symptoms and signs in urogenitalsystem were1,992(50.56%) currently. Confirmed with the foreskin and phimosis were1,393(35.42%), hyperplasia of prostate was719(18.28%), prostatitis was574(14.59%),. Psychological and behavioral status such as the recent negative emotions,work and economic pressure, family relationships, self health awareness, fast foodwere the influence factors of urogenital system symptoms (p<0.05). The more serioustheir psychological status was the greater risk of urogenital system symptoms theywould have(OR>1,P<0.05).Self health awareness, smoking, surfing, fast food werethe influence factors of hyperplasia of prostate(p<0.05). Family relationships, selfhealth awareness were the influence factors of prostatitis (p<0.05), the risk would begreater while they had bad family relationships and self health awareness(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusions: The reproductive age male in this city were in high prevalence ofurogenital system diseases. Psychological and behavioral status such as the recentnegative emotions, work and economic pressure, family relationships, self healthawareness, fast food were the influence factors of urogenital system symptoms. Selfhealth awareness, smoking, surfing, fast food were the influence factors of hyperplasiaof prostate. Family relationships, self health awareness were the influence factors ofprostatitis.
