Abstract:A large proportion of parasitic protozoan can cause human intestinal disease. These protozoan mostly belong to Apicomplexan protozoa, Sporozoa, coccidia subclass. Cyclospora, Cryptosporidium and Enterocytozoon are newly discovered intestinal parasitic protozoa, widespread dissemination in the world, They can infect a variety of zoonoses whether in developed or developing countries, there are many reports about outbreaks of these parasitic protozoal, which are mainly spread through fruits, vegetables and water. Enterocytozoon can also be spread by breathing. In the immunocompetent population, most of these parasitic protozoal was a transient. In immunosuppressed patients, will lead to death.1. In order to understand the prevalence and morphological characteristics of Intestinal parasites in Zhengzhou and Kaifeng of Henan province.6600copies of human fecal samples were collected from Henan Provincial People’s Hospital, Kaifeng Huaihe Hospital and Kaifeng155inpatient hospital from July to August from2011to2013. According to the age principle of World Health Organization (WHO), the subject of the investigation is divided into eight different age groups. The overall infection rate of Cyclospora is0.52%(34/6600). Through the analysis of age, the infection rates of people45-59years old were highest (0.18%), the lowest were over75years old. Through the analysis of sex, the infection rate of women (0.38%(11/2914)) which lower than Male infection rate (0.63%(23/3686)). Through the analysis of survey years, the infection rates of Cyclospora were fall. Cryptosporidium were found in11samples, the overall infection rate was0.17%. Through the analysis of age, the infection rates of people7-17years old were highest (0.18%), then the people of0-6years old, the lowest were over75years old. Through the analysis of sex, the infection rate of women (0.17%(5/2914)) which higher than Male infection rate (0.08%(3/3686)). Through the analysis of survey years, the infection rates of Cyclospora were fall.2. In order to establish the method to wash Cyclospora oocysts from the surface of fruits and vegetables, The author reference the articals of other scholars to develope a method for detection of human Cyclospora cayetanensis on surface of vegetables and fruits. Different number (50、500) of Cyclospora oocysts were artificially contaminated to the surface of fruits and vegetables, and set a negative control. The samples placed in gas bath thermostats oscillator, were washed using different kinds of detergent (0.1%Alconox(?)、0.1%Liby、0.1%Diaopai、0.1%Baimao), then oocysts were collected after twice centrifuge. Finally, The elution were detected by nested PCR to amplify the18S rRNA gene of Cyclospora. When using100mL deionized water, the minimum detectable level of lettuce, zucchini, cucumbers, watermelons, melons and strawberries was50oocysts, respectively, but tomatoes was500oocysts. When used the4different kinds of detergent, the minimum detectable level of each sample could be50oocysts. There are no significant differences between different kinds of detergent. The best wash time was30minutes.3. In order to found out the exist of parasites on the surface of fruits and vegetables.464samples of fruits and vegetables were collected from farms and markets in Zhengzhou and Kaifeng from June to September in2013. According to the detecting method, Cyclospora was found in1sample, Cryptosporidum were found in3samples, Enterocytozoon were found in14samples.In this study, the prevalence and morphological characteristics of patients of three hospitals in Zhengzhou and Kaifeng were investigated. A method for detection of human Cyclospora cayetanensis on surface of vegetables and fruits were established. The presence parasites on the surface of vegetables and fruits were investigated. These can lay the foundation to stop the transmission of human intestinal protozoan.
