A Before-after Self-controlled Study On The Efficacy Of Different Formulations Of Fu Yang Jie Du Preparation To HIV Infectors

Purpose:Through self control and crossover clinical experiment, we observed the CD4cell count and viral load in patients with HIV infection, the dosage form changes impact on the above objective index, analyze the test results which Fu Yang Jiedu granules and Fu yang Jiedu capsules to cure Aids of the asymptomatic period, To evaluate the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of cure Aids of the asymptomatic period.Methods:We selected25cases of eligible patients which asymptomatic patients with HIV infection, Take the oral administration,12months ago to Fuyang Jiedu Granule, after12months to Fuyang Jiedu Capsule;1month of follow-up, provide experimental drugs, Fill in the case report form, inspect CD4cell and the virus load every3months, compared with before treatment, to statistical processing for The clinical curative effect of Fu Yang Jiedu preparation.Results:At the end of third months CD4compared with before treatment, P>0.05, the t test no significant difference; Treatment after12months and24months P>0.05, the t test no significant difference, But the count of CD4have the tendency to rise compared with that before treatment。At the end of third months viral load compared with before treatment,P<0.05, the difference is statistically significant by t test; At the end of twelfth months viral load compared with before treatment, P<0.05, the difference is statistically significant by t test; At the end of twenty-fourth months viral load compared with before treatment, P>0.05, the t test no significant difference,Viral load are elevated compared with that before treatment.Conclusion:Fu Yang Jiedu granules can stabilized the effect of CD4early.Both Fu Yang Jiedu granules or capsules can stabilize or elevate the patients of CD4by clinical observation of12months. Fu Yang Jiedu granules can decrease virus load.Granular preparation compare to capsule have more curative effect on viral load. Therefore, the preparation still take the best to granules, dosage form reform is not necessary.
