Objective:To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Sea buckthorn emulsion on plasma motilin for chronic gastritis patients in order to provide new ideas and new methods for the clinical treatment of chronic gastritis.Method:86patients with chronic gastritis who was chosen from Lanzhou maternal and child health care hospital outpatient department of internal medicine between June of2013to June of2014. All of them had the syndrome of spleen deficiency. Those cases were randomly divided into two groups. In the control group, there were43cases who were treated by Xiangsha Yangwei pills (10pills each time, tid, po), while in the treatment group, there were43cases who were treated by the Sea buckthorn emulsion treatment (20grams per time, tid, po). The course of the treatment lasted for one month. We observed the symptoms before and after the treatment, we detected the gastrict mucosa through the gastroscope and the level of plasma motilin as well. All the data was analysis by the statistical software SPSS13.0. Finally, we analyzed the clinical therapeutic effect of Sea buckthorn emulsion on plasma motilin for chronic gastritis patients and the different effect between the Xiangsha Yangwei pills. Results:The two groups were comparable in age, sex, course of disease, Helicobacter pylori infection (P>0.05). As for symptoms of stomach noisy, distention, gastric pain, no appetite, poor appetite, belching, nausea, acid reflux heartburn, the total effect rate of treatment group was between86.21%and100%, while the control group was between56.52%and77.14%; the efficacy index of the treatment group was between70.18%and91.07%, while the control group was between32.84%and50.00%., the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). As for the improvement of Gastric mucosal hyperemia, edema, erosion, ulcer, bile flow, endoscopic mucosal rough, exposed vessel through the gastroscope, the total effect rate of the treatment group was between85.71%and96.30%, while the control group was between33.33%and69.56%, the difference has statistical significance (P<0.05). After the treatment, the infection rate of the Helicobacter pylori in the treatment group was lower than before, while the level of plasma motilin was increased. However, both of them didn’t obvious change in the control group. The difference has statistical significance (P<0.05). During the treatment, none of the two groups had obvious side effect. Conclusion:The Sea buckthorn emulsion is a new Chinese medicine preparation for treating chronic gastritis which is safe and effective, it do have the exact effect in reducing the clinical symptoms, increasing appetite, repairing the gastric mucosa, reducing and removing the Helicobacter pylori and increasing the motilin etc..
