Objective:Through comparing the difference of plasma NO levels among patients with essentialhypertension (EH)of Kazakhs,Uygurs and Han in Xinjiang, exploring the correlations betweenplasma NO and blood pressure, plasma glucose, blood lipids, blood urieaeid, etal. Explore therisk factors of essential hypertension and related pathogenesis in the three ethnics.Methods:(1)Totally219Kazakh cases that came from the epidemiological investigation inManasi or Shawan county,182Uygur cases that that came from the epidemiologieal in Yiliand385Han cases that came from physical examination center of first affiliated hospital ofShi he zi University from december2012to July2013were selected for thesubjects.According to their blood pressure, they were divided into EH group of Kazakh andcontrol group of Kazakh,EH group of Uygur and control group of Uygur,EH group of Hanand control group of Han.Detect and compare the conventional biochemical markers plasmaNO concentrations of the selected cases.(2)According to standards of Chinese HypertensionPrevention Guide, the normal blood pressure group is further divided into high-normal bloodpressure group and the ideal blood pressure group, plasma NO levels were compared betweensubgroups.(3) All data were analyzed using t test, analysis of variance, Pearson correlationmultiple regression analysis, and the resulting data for statistical analysis. Significance wasset at P <0.05.Results:(1) The BMI, TC, LDL, HDL levels in the EH group of Kazakh were higher than that in theEH group of Han,the level of TG, UA lower than the Han EH group(P <0.05). Theaverage age of Uygur EH group was higher than that of Han EH group(P <0.05). theBMI, TC, LDL, HDL in Uygur EH group were higher than that in the Han EH group(P<0.05).(2) The plasma NO level in the EH group of Kazakh and Han was lower than that inthe control group(P <0.05).The plasma NO level in the EH group of Uygur was lower thanthat in the control group(P>0.05).(3) The plasma NO level in the EH group of Kazakh waslower than that in Han and Uygur EH group(P <0.05).The plasma NO level in the EH groupof Uygur was higher than that in Han EH group(P <0.05).(4) In the EH group ofKazakh, the plasma NO level was negatively correlated with SBP、DBP、BMI、LDL-C、UA(P<0.05orP<0.01); In the control group of Kazakh, the plasma NO level was negativelycorrelated with BMI、LDL-C(P<0.05).(5) In the EH group of Uygur, the plasma NO level wasnegatively correlated with SBP、DBP、BMI、TG、LDL-C(P<0.05orP<0.01); In the controlgroup of Uygur, the plasma NO level was negatively correlated with BMI、LDL-C(P<0.05).(6)In the EH group of Han,the plasma NO level was negatively correlated with SBP、DBP、BMI、LDL-C(P<0.05); In the control group of Uygur, the plasma NO level was negatively correlatedwith BMI、LDL-C(P<0.05).(7) The plasma NO level in the high-normal blood pressuregroup of Kazakh was lower than that in the ideal blood pressure group(P <0.05).The plasma NO level in the EH group of Kazakh was lower than that in the high-normal blood pressuregroup(P <0.05).(8) The plasma NO levels Uygurs: Ideal blood pressure group>high-normal blood pressure group>EH group, the difference was not statisticallysignificant.(9) The plasma NO level in the high-normal blood pressure group of Han washigher than that in the ideal blood pressure group(P <0.05).The plasma NO level in the EHgroup of Han was lower than that in the high-normal blood pressure group(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1) The plasma NO level is decreased in the patients with EH and high normal bloodpressure of Kazakh,Uygur and Han(except that in the high normal blood pressure group ofHan),and there are correlations with blood pressure, obesity and blood lipids. It is suggestedthat NO is involved in the occurrence, development and regulation of essential hypertension.(2) The plasma NO levels in patients with essential hypertension of Kazak, Han, Uygurincreased in turn.It showed the same with the EH groups in the control group in the threeethnics.(3) The risk factors of high-normal blood pressure in Kazak, Uygur, and Han were age, overweight, abnormal lipid metabolism, It is almost the same with traditional risk factors forhypertension.
