Objective:In order to provide an objective basis in areas of cancer-induced fever, the clinicalefficacy of dayuanyin which is used in clinical treatment of dampness-heat was observed.The test will offer more experiences to the further systematic research.Methods:This was a randomized controlled trial. The experimental objects in line withdiagnosis were randomly divided into the treatment group (dayuanyin and Naproxen) andthe control group (Naproxen). The clinical efficacy in the treatment of cancer-inducedfever was compared.Results:The treatment group (dayuanyin and Naproxen) could improve the clinical symptomsand the patients’living quality greatly. Besides, it could treat the cancer-induced fevereffectively, and the effect was smooth, stable, little clinical toxicity, and well tolerated. Theimpact on white blood cell count was small.Conclusion:After preliminary clinical study, dayuanyin might be an effective medicine treatedwith dampness-cancer-induced fever. It could improve the Karnofsky score in the patientswith cancer-induced fever and be worthy of further experimental and clinical studies.
