Objective:From Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern medicine for theawareness and research of atherosclerosis and tumor, combining the analysis of clinicalretrospective statistics and the survey of clinical cases, explore the correlation of the twodisease in the pathogenesis and clinical disease etiology, pathogenesis, syndromes and otheraspects, discuss the relevance on atherosclerosis and tumor,to lay the foundation of Chinesemedicine in the treatment of atherosclerotic disease and tumor patients studied treatingdifferent disease with the same method.Method:1.Study345tumor patients collected in the incidence of atheroscleroticdisease, divide the345cancer patients into four groups, benign tumor group, malignantgroup, atherosclerosis group and no atherosclerosis group, and analyze the relevance inage, gender and other aspects of inter-group;2.Statistic the enrolled437cases of healthypeople in the incidence of atherosclerotic diseases and neoplastic disease, and divide theminto four groups, atherosclerosis group, tumor group (including nodules, cysts and othertissue disease),atherosclerosis and tumor group, and the overall combined data group, andanalyze the relevance in age, gender and other aspects of inter-group;3.Put100cases ofatherosclerosis patients and100cases of tumor patients into TCM clinical syndrometype, attribute them into eight groups including Qi deficiency type,Qi stagnation type,Heattoxin type, the phlegm type,Blood deficiency type,Blood stasis type,Yang deficiencytype,Yin deficiency type, observe the distribution of different syndromes in patients withvarious type, and compare atherosclerosis patients with cancer patients in age and gender, toanalyze the relevance in the distribution on TCM syndromes between the two diseases.Results:1.345cases of tumor patients clinical data analysis results:There is nostatistically different between atherosclerosis and the whole tumor data in age,sex distribution(P>0.05);there is no statistically significant difference between atherosclerosisgroup and malignant group in gender, age distribution(P>0.05),among other groups there issignificant difference in age and gender(P<0.05);the relevance between benign andmalignant tumor incidence and pathogenesis of atherosclerosis exists, and there is largerrelevance between atherosclerosis and malignancy(P<0.05).2.437cases of healthy people clinical data analysis results:There is no significantdifference between groups of atherosclerosis group, tumor group, atherosclerosis and tumorgroup, the overall data group for each group of cases in age,gender(P>0.05);there isrelevance between atherosclerosis and tumor (P<0.05).3.100cases of atherosclerosis patients and100tumor patients clinical data analysisresults:There is no significant difference in age and gender between atherosclerosis andcancer(P>0.05),there is no significant difference in the distribution of TCM syndromesbetween the two diseases(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.There is relevance between the onset of atherosclerosis and tumor. Moreover, the relevance among atherosclerosis and malignancy is even larger.2. There isno difference between atherosclerosis and tumor in TCM syndromes distribution.3. ForTCM, the treatment of atherosclerosis and tumor could be same.
