Analysis The Driver’s Eye Movement Characteristics Based On The Different Light Environment Of The Prairiehighway

Driver is the dominant factor in the man-machine system and easily be effect by enviroment. Through the research discovery, the outside information obtained by the 87% driver is dependent on the vision, while the light directly affect the driver’s vision. When the eye movement behavior of light is too high or too low will affect the driver’s driving, thus affecting the operation of the driver. Therefore, Research on eye movement characteristics under the conditions according to different light on the understanding of the driver’s dynamic visual characteristics, the driver to reduce the driver’s visual fatigue, enhance traffic safety and so on has a very important significance.This paper records the driver’s physiogical parameters of eye movements in real traffic environment experiment,use statistical methods for processing and analyzing the collected data. Research the driver’s fixation duration, pupil diameter and saccade amplitude 3 index changes in different light conditions. The results of this study indicate that:When the illuminance at 400-130001x, the driver’s fixation duration and pupil diameter small changes within the scope of their respective, saccade amplitude affected by illumination changes, fluctuation is obvious, with the illumination change is generally significant relationship. With the survey shows that the light on the driver’s eyes is more appropriate, so conducive to driving safety; In the light of 13000-330001x, the driver’s fixation duration,pupil diameter,saccade amplitude changes in big ups and downs, there are affected by changes in illumination,and fixation duration, pupil diameter and saccade amplitude with light is generally significant relationship, there have a certain influence in this range of illumination variations on the 3 eye movement index; In the light of 33000～55000lx, fixation duration, pupil diameter, saccade amplitude change ups and downs smooth. According to the questionnaire survey found that, in the light in the range of 13001～550001x make the driver feel dry eyes, pain, blurred vision, glare and other symptoms, so the light changes lead to eye discomfort, is not conducive to driving safety.
