Relationship Between Serum Uric Acid And Brachial Ankle Pulse Wave Velocity Of Healthy Subjects In XINJIANG Area

Objective:To observe the relationship between Uygur male and female blood uric acid (SUA) level and brachial ankle pulse wave velocity (ba-PWV) in Xinjiang area. Methods: From 2008 June to December 2012,a total 2102 Uygur healthy subjects,1248 males and854females,aged between25and67years old.The subjectswere divided into groupsA(ba-PWV<1400cm/s,normal),B(ba-PWV=1400-1599cm/s,slightlyfaster),C(ba-P WV=1600-1799cm/s,moderately faster),D(ba-PWV>1800cm/s,severely faster).SUA levels were compared among 4 groups.Males with SUA>420umol/L and females with SUA≥350 umol/L,were defined as hyperuricmia(HUA).Correlation anlaysis and multivariate logistic regression was used to evaluate the relation between th Uygur male femaleSUA,abdominal,circumference,TC,TG,HDL-c,LDL-c,SBP,DBP,Glu,BUN,Scr,UA ,hypertension,diabetes and ba-PWV. Results:The Uygur femal SUA was significant (p<0.01), and the difference between male and female was significant(p<0.01),the detectable rate of Uygur female HUA is significant(p<0.01).Conclusions:The serum uric acid of Uygur female was independently associate with ba-PWV level in Xinjiang area.
