The Relationtionship Between The Symptoms Of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder And Health-risky Behaviours Among Colledge Students

Goal:1, Learning of the symptom degree of the Shanghai college students with ADHD through simple self-assessment list.2. Analysing the correlation between the college students with ADHD and health-risky behaviour.Methods:To collect the data of whether the college students have the ADHD and health-risky behaviour or not through the quantitative analysis and cross-section survey. To research the ADHD symptom degree of the Shanghai college students from those diagnosed with ADHD and analysing the correlation between the college students with ADHD and health-risky behavior through the chi-square analysis and regression analysis.Results:1. of the Shanghai college students’ADHD symptom inspecting results is 7.8%,8.7% of them are male and 7.6% of them are female.2. The significant correlation between the college students’ADHD symptom and health-risky behaviour:(1)Smoking:The smoking behaviour of the male college students with Hyperactivity Disorder symptom are distinct from the none-ADHD carrier. Hyperactivity Disorder symptom is the risk factor for "having tried to smoke", "having smoked at least once during 30 days" and " large amount of daily smok ". The smoking behaviour of the female college students with ADHD symptom are distinct from the none-ADHD carrier. Hyperactivity Disorder is the risk factor for "having tried to smoke".(2)Alcoholing:The drinking behaviour of the college students with ADHD symptom is distinct from the none-ADHD carrier. The male college students with Hyperactivity Disorder symptom are the risk factor for bibulous. The female college students with Attention-Deficit are the risk factor for having tried to drink; Hyperactivity Disorder is the risk factor for being drunk at least once 12 months.(3)Sleeping problem:60.5% of the college students’ADHD symptom has the sleeping problem. Both Attention-Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder are risk factors for sleeping problem.(4) Injury-related behaviors:The occurrence of injury-related behaviors of the college students’ ADHD symptoms is distinct from the none-ADHD carrier. Among them, both of the unintentional injury behavior and intentional injury behavior are high.Both of the Attention-Deficit and the Hyperactivity Disorder are the risk factor for njury-related behaviors.(5)Unsafe sexual behaviour:The risk sexual behaviour of the male college students with ADHD are distinct from the none-ADHD carrier. Hyperactivity Disorder is the risk factor for premarital sex and unprotected sex without condom. The female college students with ADHD have premarital sex which are distinct from the none-ADHD carriers, Hyperactivity Disorder is the risk factor for premarital sex.Conclusion:The Shanghai college students’ ADHD symptom inspecting result is similar with international standards. Higher education workers should pay great attention to this situation and intervene and guide psychologically at the early stage to reduce the social functional lesion and help to build healthy behaviour to prevent and control the chronic disease.
