Objective:To analyse MSCT performances of central small cell lung carcinoma and central squamous cell carcinoma comparatively and explore differential value of respective sign. Methods:95 cases of central pulmonary carcinomas(49 small lung carcinomas and 46 Squamous carcinomas) confirmed by pathology treated in our hospital from December 2012 to April 2014 were included in the study. MSCT features of the lesions were analysed with univariate x2 test, group t test and multivariate Logistic regression analysis of statistical software SPSS 17.0.Results:(1) There were significant differences in Pleural effusion, distant metastasis, invasion of heart and great vessels, bronchostenosis with no blocking and lobar consolidation between the two groups (P<0.05). Calcification, pericardium effusion, pleural nodules, incomplete bronchial obstruction and pulmonary atelectasis had no intergroup difference (P> 0.05). Uneven enhancement, tumor necrosis and bronchial obstruction were more common in squamous cell lung cancer group (P<0.05). (2) About lymph nodes, lymph nodes enlargement of mediastinal hilum, outside the chest and N2 stage and lymph fusion were significantly different (P<0.05),which the incidence of small cell lung cancer were higher than squamous cell carcinoma. The mean size of lymph nodes enlargement had statistical significance(P<0.001) between the two groups. Lymph node distribution of Nl and N2 had no significant difference (P> 0.05). (3) No significant differences were found in the pulmonary arteriovenous invasive rate and invasive approach (P> 0.05).(4) Lymph fusion, distant metastasis and bronchiostenosis without blocking were conducted with logistic regression analysis(OR value of 95% CI>1),which indicated that above three signs were small cell lung cancer risk factors. Otherwise inhomogenous enhancements of tumor were negative correlation to the small lung cancer. Conclusion:Some CT signs of central small cell lung carcinoma and central squamous carcinoma were different. Comprehensive analyses of both will have certain values for differential diagnosis of these two diseases.
