Adjuvant Therapy For Gallbladder Cancer:a Systematic Evaluation And Meta-Analysis

Objective:To search benefits of adjuvant therapy on survival of gallbladder cancer.Methods:We searched Wanfangdatabase, Weipu, PubMed, Springerlink, ScienceDirect, the studies which evaluated adjuvant chemotherapy(CT), radiotherapy (RT), or both (CRT) compared with curative-intent surgery alone for resected BTC were included.We used The Cochrane network RevMan5.3softwar for statistical data analysis. Results:lyear survival,there was a significant difference between two groups[R,0.61;95% CI(0.53,0.72);P<0.00001];3year survival,there was a nonsignificant difference between two groups[R,0.67; 95%CI(0.38,1.18);P=0.17];5year survival, there was a nonsignificant difference between two groups[R,0.66;95% CI(0.32,1.38);P=0.27].Conclusion:Adjuvant therapy can improve 1 year survival,bat there is not significant improvement for 3 year and 5year survival.
