Objective:" Ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule " in the treatment of mild cognitive dysfunction of preliminary mechanism research, for further research and development of new drugs of Chinese medicine treating mild cognitive dysfunction provide experimental and theoretical basis.Method:60 wistar rats were selected by jumping screened which were active, more sensitive response to electric shock and rapid escape response.Experiments were randomly divided into model group, control group, positive drug control group, ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule high, medium and low dose group, each group of 10 wistar rats.Two previous animal experiments, all animals began oral administration in the 14 days before the experiment, the ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule high dose group:2g/kg body weight (20%,10ml/kg); ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule medium dose group:1g/kg of body weight (10%,10ml/kg); ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule low dose group:0.5g/kg of body weight (5%,10ml/kg); positive control group:piracetam:0.3g/kg body weight (3%, 10ml/kg); the control group, pathological model group was given the same dose of distilled water.The third animal experiments, all animals began oral administration in the 14 days before the experiment, the ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule high dose group:4g/kg body weight; ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule medium dose group:2g/kg of body weigh; ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule low dose group:1g/kg of body weight; positive control group: piracetam:0.54g/kg body weight (3%,10ml/kg); the control group, pathological model group was given the same dose of distilled water.Escape detection of electrical stimulation, water maze training path and avoiding dark passive avoidance test were conducted, and analysis of the indicators.Result:The first results show that scopolamine could make certain obstacles effects on learning and memory in animals; ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule had a certain protective effect on brain tissue by enhancing superoxide anion radical scavenging capacity; ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule enhanced the learning and memory ability of animal models with cognitive dysfunction by reducing the decomposition of acetylcholine.The second results show that scopolamine had significant effect on the learning and memory of rats.Compared with model group, ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule high, medium and low dose group of animals had lengthen the incubation period and reduced the Electric shock; Model group animals’autonomous activities significantly decreased, and ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule groups animals’autonomic activities were significantly higher than the model group, indicating that it improved animals’ activities.Conclusion:Ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule on scopolamine and D-galactosamine model of cognitive impairment in animal models of learning and memory behavior has significantly improved, and the mechanism may be related to ginseng leaf ease dementia capsule regulating animal brain tissue acetyl cholinesterase and superoxide dismutase (sod).
