Objective:To investigate the relationship between Xinjiang Uygur, Han coronary atherosclerotic heart disease (CHD) patients with uric acid (UA) levels and coronary heart disease, coronary artery disease between. Methods:Patients with coronary heart disease after coronary angiography confirmed 320 cases, including 180 cases of Han, Uygur 140 cases; angiography was normal in 100 cases of non-CAD group, serum uric acid levels compared between the two groups; CHD will be divided into single vessel disease and multivessel disease group, and the different ethnic groups of patients according to the results of coronary artery disease further compare serum uric acid concentrations. Results: CHD serum uric acid concentration was significantly higher than non-CAD group; CHD among Uighurs uric acid levels were significantly higher than the Han CHD group (p<0.05); CHD in patients with multivessel disease was significantly Uighur uric acid levels higher than the Han patients with multivessel disease (p<0.01); no significant difference (p single-vessel disease Uygur and Han serum uric acid levels>0.05). Conclusion:Hyperuricemia is one risk factor for coronary heart disease, which may be an important indicator of severity. Its indicators are ethnic differences may be related to dietary factors, lifestyle, genes and so on.
