A Clinical Curative Effect Analysis On Treating Pseudobuibar Medulla Oblongata With Nape Needle

Objective:To investigate the 174 cases, clinical therapeutic effect of nape-acupuncture on pseudobulbar palsy and analyze the results of this observations,looking for a better method and improving the life quality.Methods:Collect relevant information on 174 cases of patients with pseudobulbar palsy which meeting the inclusion criteria. All cases were recorded and analysised by Exce12007 and SPSS 17.0. The analysis includes the mean, the standard deviation and the constituent ratio.Results:1.The patients of Pseudobulbar palsy including 59 cases of middle age(41-60 years old) group,33.91%,and 114 cases of old age group(>60 years old),65.51%,most of them was men.2. All the patients had dysphagia and dysarthria. After 7 days,treatment total efficiency of patients with dysphagia was 75.86%, total efficiency of patients with dysarthria was 35.63%. After 14 days,treatment total efficiency of patients with dysphagia was 92.75%, total e f f i ciency of patients with dysarthria was 54.45%. After 21 days,treatment total efficiency of patients with dysphagia was 95.65%, total efficiency of patients with dysarthria was 79.31%.3. In this study, there were 59 cases with nasal feeding. After 7 day s,acupuncture therapy,15 cases nasal feeding tube was removed.In 8 to 14days,acupuncture therapy,34cases were removed. In 15 to 21 days,acupuncture therapy,7cases was removed and 3 cases need more than 22 days,acupuncture therapy.4.After the treatment, dysphagia and dysarthria of each group has been both improved.The results of treatment on dysphagia of 89 cases,effective in 89 cases,effective rate was 51.15%, markedly effective in 53 cases,the significant effective rate was 30.46%,65 cases were cured,the curative rate was 37.36%,and the total effective rate was 95.40%. The results of treatment on dysarthria of 138 cases, effective in 76 cases,effective rate was 34.68%, markedly effective in 33cases,the significant effective rate was 18.97%,34cases were cured,the curative rate was 19.54%,and the total effective rate was 79.31%.Conclusion:1.The total effective rate of PBP patients with dysphagia is 95.40%, and the total effective rate of PBP patient with dysarthria is 79.31%.2.The total rate of removing the nasal feeding tube in 3 weeksamong 174 cases is 93.22%.
