Objective:To investigate the factors affecting the survival rate ang voice related quality of laryngeal carcinoma. Methods:182 case of laryngeal cancer in our hospital from Jan 2003 to Jan 2013 have been retrospectively reviewed. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to study the survival rate.Log-rank was used to perform single factor analysis..Cox Proportional hazard model was used to study the Prognosis of laiyngeal cancer Patients after surgical treatment. Analysis of variance was used to study the voice related quality of live analysis of laiyngeal cancer patients after surgical treatment.Results:182 cases received follow-up of 153 cases (84%) and lost to follow-up 29 cases. The overall survival rate is 98.8% at 1 years,76.4% at 3 years,47.2 % at 5 years. Univariate analysis showed that primary site, patholog ical grade, T-stage,N-stage, clinical stage and treatment methods were Proven to significant (P< 0. 05). Multivariate analysis showed the primary site, Patholog ical grade, clinical stage and treatment methods were proven to significant (P< 0.05). Analysis of variance showed three different oPeration methods for voice related quality of live were Proven to significant (P< 0.05).Conclusion:The independent factors affecting the prognosis of the patients with laryngeal carcinoma are primary site, patholog ical grade, clinical stage and treatment methods. The influence of different surgical methods for voice related quality of life significantly. Early diagnosis was the key points to larynx preservation, voice qulity and survival rate.
