Objective:Acute spinal cord injury(ASCI) is a serious nervous system trauma. This study aimed to establish the protein spectrum of differential proteins in cerebrospinal fluid of ASCI rats model, study the secondary injury mechanism and find an effective method of treating ASCI from molecular level. Methods:ASCI was produced in Sprague-Dawley rats and Isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ) technology was applied to analyze the differential proteins in cerebrospinal fluid of ASCI rats model. Results:Total 722 proteins have been identified in this study, including 107 differentially expressed proteins, the numbers of downregulated and upregulated proteins are 63 and 44. About 19 proteins were related to neurogenesis, among them the number of up-regulation proteins are 14 and the number of down-regulation proteins are 5. About 7 proteins contributed to the regulation of neurogenesis. Conclusion:The differential proteins and growth factor identified in this study can be taken as the biomarker of ASCI or indicators of clinical monitoring of the progression, target treatment and efficacy assessment after ASCI. |
