Hua-tan-jie-du Combined With Molecular Targeted Therapy Treating The Advanced Non Small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective: To observe the traditional Chinese medicine combined with molecular targeted drug treating the patients with advanced non small cell lung cancer patients with short-term efficacy, quality of life changes and toxicity and so on, in order to evaluate TCM in advanced non small cell lung cancer treatment effect and advantage of. Method:selection and outpatient oncology ward in 2013 January to 2014 December in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in 63 patients treated by IIIb or IV non small cell lung cancer, 32 were randomly assigned to the treatment group, 31 cases in the control group, the treatment group used traditional Chinese medicine combined with targeted drugs(erlotinib, gefitinib NEH or icotinib one),the control group using a simple target therapy(erlotinib, gefitinib or icotinib one),assessing the efficacy of treatment in January. Results: the treatment group and control group in the efficiency of 18.75% and 12.90%(P=0.525), no statistical significance; the control rate of treatment group and control group were 75% and 77.42% disease(P=0.946), no statistical significance. The treatment group and control group before and after treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes, the statistical test, P < 0.05, there is significant difference between the treatment group and the control patients; the KPS score before and after treatment in both groups, the statistical test, P < 0.05, there is significant difference. The treatment group compared with the control group, the lower of the side reaction incidence and the higher security in skin rashes, gastrointestinal reaction,elevated transaminase. Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine combined with targeted therapy can effectively alleviate the targeted therapy side effects, improve clinical symptoms, improve the quality of life of patients, to attenuated synergistic effect.
