Objective:To study the treatment of spinal metastases patients, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) analysis combined radical curative effect for the treatment of spinal metastases. Methods:A retrospective analysis of treatment of 75 patients with single vertebral spinal metastases, according to the treatment is divided into simple surgical group, just the radiotherapy, surgery combined radiotherapy group, including simple surgical group 25 cases, surgery combined radiotherapy group of 22 patients and 28 cases of simple radiotherapy group. Radiotherapy patients give exposure dose of 40-60 gy,2 gy/times, five times per week. Comparative analysis of three groups of patients in the short term pain remission rate and local recurrence rate. Results:the pain relief rate of three groups of patients with no statistical difference (P>0.05);Half an year local tumor recurrence surgery combined radiotherapy group< simple radiotherapy group< pure surgery group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Surgery combined radiotherapy dose group was (57.27±4.56 Gy), simple radiotherapy dose for (43.93± 4.97 Gy), the difference was statistically significant; Combination group accumulated by the amount of spinal cord was (44.23±0.63 Gy), simple radiotherapy group accumulated by the amount of spinal cord (41.47±2.49 Gy), both within the scope of the safety of the spinal cord by the amount of (45 Gy) or less. Conclusion:Intensity-modulated radiation therapy can effectively implement precise radiotherapy for spinal tumor, at the same time reduce the radiation injury of the spinal cord.Surgery combined radiotherapy is better than pure radiotherapy and surgery.Tumor resection in patients with relatively simple radiotherapy in patients with radiation dose, spinal metastases tumor resection in reducing tumor burden, ease of spinal cord compression at the same time, for spinal metastases radical intensity-modulated radiation therapy provides a space.The spinal metastases radical radiotherapy.
