Since the reform and opening up, China has gained great development in economy and social civilization. During this process, the demand for medical services improves and diversifies constantly. Along with the medical and health system reform, increasing problems and contradictions emerge in this field, which have become a focus of the whole society. In medical industry, medical accidents occur frequently and doctor-patient relationship becomes more and more nervous. The contradiction between doctors and patients escalates into a social problem which would obstruct the construction of a harmonious society. However, the nervous relationship between doctors and patients is not caused by one part solely. Both sides are responsible for it. For mutual benefit, they should depend on each other and cope with the problems jointly. Under the condition that China’s socio-economic system, legal sense and the opinions of both doctor and patient have changed, it is significantly essential to research into the problems about current doctor-patient relationship. To analyze the current situation of doctor-patient relationship under the perspective of management; to explore the reasons which affect the management of doctor-patient relationship; and to seek the main thoughts of constructing harmonious doctor-patient relationship.As the society developed, the contradiction in doctor-patient relationship has incensed. The growing tension of doctor-patient relationship not only encroaches the rights and interests of patients, but also contuses the enthusiasm of medical staff seriously. It has become a disharmonious social factor. As a result, the study of doctor-patient relationship under the perspective of management is on the agenda. How to better manage the doctor-patient relationship? This paper tries to answer the question. With the help of the theories and methods of Management, following the studying thought from phenomenon to essence, this paper focus on the current situation and reasons of doctor-patient relationship and ways of how to conduct systemic management, trying to build up a harmonious doctor-patient relationship management system which matches the present situation and achieve the win-win situation among doctor, patient, society etc.. The paper studied the background and research status about current doctor-patient relationship by the method of literature research at first. Then it analyzed the features, management patterns and management problems of doctor-patient relationship innewperiodby empirical approach. Based on the questionnaire survey, the paper analyzed the reasonsthat affect the doctor-patient relationship management from four aspects—doctor, patient, government and society. Finally,it puts forward the thoughts of setting up harmonious doctor-patient relationship under the perspective of management.
