ObjectiveThis study aimed to the observation of hyperlipidemia with the treatment of auricular pressure and explore the responsible organs of hyperlipidemia.Methods84 patients with hyperlipidemia, were randomly assigned to the treatment or control groups, using simple random method and software JMTJFX, based on the sample size. Ear detector was applied to detect 11 ear points of patients including the Heart, Lungs, Liver, Spleen, Kidney, Triple Burner, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Gallbladder, Stomach, Bladder. Record the positive points and find out the relevance organs of hyperlipidemia. The treatment group used auricular pressure with beans plus diet and exercise therapy, by changing paste every 3 days, lasting for 3 months; the control group used diet and exercise therapy for 3 months. Effectiveness, compliance rate, symptom score of TCM and positive ear points were observed before and after treatment.ResultsThe effective rate of treatment group is 57.5% and the control group is 30.8%. The two groups have obvious difference effect, by the statistical test, P<0.05, which has a statistical significance. The effect of treatment group was proved to be better than the control group. However, the compliance rate was 62.5%, which the control group was 58.9%. The compliance rate of two groups had no significant difference, with the statistical test, P>0.05, which is without statistical significance. The frequency of ear point in 79 cases: Spleen 75, Large intestine 67, higher than the rest of ear·points. It shows that the main responsible organs for hyperlipidemia are Spleen and Large Intestine.ConclusionAuricular pressure have a certain lipid-lowering effect for hyperlipidemia. The treatment group was proved to be better than the control group. The compliance rate was no significant difference. The main responsible organs for hyperlipidemia are Spleen and Large Intestine.
