Objective:Through the brain state monitoring in anesthesiologist, to understand the brain health of the anesthesiologist at different time points (working hours);to provide a theory basis for medical worker’s frequent death recently; to direct the department staff to carry on an appropriate use of the brain, which may improve both the doctor’s physical and psychological health and the work efficiency and safety in anesthesia and operation. Methods:Volunteers entering the group were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=20 each).Group Ⅰ (male 9, female 11),group Ⅱ (male 9, female 11), group Ⅲ (male 9, female 11). Group Ⅰ as the control group, the group did not be arranged daily work; group Ⅱ participated in daily work, and the operation arrangement, medical staff and patients were the daily routine, without special treated; Group Ⅲ also be involved in routine anesthesia, but arranged 30 min rest between 12:00-12:30. Test the brain state of these 3 groups at 08:00 (T1),16:00 (T2), after 16:00 (T3) respectively, that is before work, work for 8 hours, work for more than 8 hours until the end of the surgery (T3 including 24 hours on duty). The test data were collected for statistical analysis. Results:Brain energy-dissipation,Brain fatigue, Left and right ratio of brain, Outside focus were test respectively on Anesthetist of the first Anesthesiology Department, and following are the results:1. Brain energy-dissipation:as the brain awake time being prolonged, whether to participate in daily work or not, brain energy consumption was increased gradually. But normal working group increased significantly than the control group, the absolute value was higher than 200, which showed great pressure. Short break arrangement during work can reduce cerebral energy consumption in the short term, as work time extended to more than 8 hours, lunch break could no longer have an impact on reducing the energy consumption of brain, and nap group also showed a high working pressure.2. Brain fatigue:as the brain awake time being prolonged, brain fatigue index of the three groups were increased. Normal working group increased obviously. Nap group increased a little slowly at the beginning of, but after working for more than 8 hours, there was no obvious difference with the normal group, and the brain fatigue were also high.3. Left and right ratio of brain:as the brain awake time being prolonged, the normal group reduced significantly; the control group changed a little;nap group was different with the normal group obviously when working for 8 hours. But continuing to work for longer hours, it became the same to the normal group. 4. Outside focus:as the brain awake time being prolonged, Three groups were increased gradually, working group (both normal group and nap group) increased significantly, and had no relationship with lunch break. Conclusion:Anesthesiologists were under great pressure in daily work. If things continued, organs other than brain were prone to health problems; At the same time there was an obvious brain fatigue; Anesthesiologists at work kept a high attention to the surroundings related; Ultra-long time work dropped anesthesiologists into the habit of using right brain which was prone to bad mood; A short break had the effect of alleviating fatigue to some extent, but only to shorten the working hours, could the anesthesiologists’work fatigue be effectively changed.
