Influence Of Acu-therapy Of Balancing And Adjusting Ren And Du On P300 Of Mild Cognitive Impairment After Cerebral Infraction

Objective:To explore the clinical significance of utilizing the needling in Balancing and adjusting Ren and Du in the cognition rehabilitation on Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) after Cerebral Infraction hence provide a reference for large-sample, multi-center, randomized study in this therapy.Method:60 patients were randomized into treatment group and control group, which selected from the in-patient dept. of Acupuncture and Moxibustionin ward of Shenzhen TCM Hospital and in accordence with inclusive criteria. The needling in Balancing and adjusting Ren and Du was utilized in the treatment group, while the routine acupuncture was applied in the control group. The two groups were all treated once a day for a course of continous 21 days and each treatment was lasted for half a hour. A period of 7-10 day’s delay was setted after each continous 21-days treatment. The data of MOCA score、ADL score、SDSVD score、 latency and amplitude of P300 were collected and analyzed before and after 3 courses.Results:Both the two groups had excellent therapeutic effect on cerebral infraction followed by MCI,with significance difference in MOCA score、ADL score、SDSVD score、latency and amplitude of P300 between before and after treatment (P<0.01); the two groups were considerable in gender and age (P>0.05), as well as in MOCA score、ADL score、SDSVD score、latency and amplitude of P300 before treatment, while after treatment a significance dissonance exert in MOCA score、ADL score、SDSVD score、latency and amplitude of P300 (P<0. Olor P<0.05); the therapeutic effect of TCM showed effective ratio of 73.3% in the treatment group and 33.3% in the control group, which exerted a significance difference between the two groups. Before and after treatment, latency of P300 were negetive correlated with MOCA score and ADL score (P<0.01), while positive correlated with SDSVD score(P<0.01);amplitude of P300 were positive correlated with MOCA score and ADL score (P<0.01 or P<0.05), while negative correlated with SDSVD score (P<0.01).Conelusion:The study demonstrated a satisfied therapeutic effect of cognition function, activities of daily living and syndrome in TCM by needling in Balancing and Adjusting Ren and Du on MCI after cerebral infraction. Compared with the routine acupuncture,it is more proficient at smoothing Ren and Du meridian, adjusting and nurturing Yin, Yang, qi and blood hence rehabilitating and regulating the function of some lesion section(s) in brain.
