anxiety is a category of mental disorder, characterized by long-lasting anxiety, worry, fear and paroxysmal panic, and are frequently accompanied by vegetative nervous system symptoms, such as a racing heart, chest tightness, chest pain, shortness of. breath, excessive sweating, dizziness and shakiness. After the trauma, the work injury patients suffer a lot of pain and the physical function was declined, what’more, the relationship between them and the employ always tense, all of these make patiens feel anxious and worried. This mental disorder has a negative influence on their rehabilitation and the life in the future.In modern medicine, the anxiety is always treated by drug, but drug treatment is always accompanied with adverse reactions and need long-term courses, so patient adherence tends to be low. Traditional chinese medicine especially the acupuncture has definite effect on anxiety, but there is still some problem, such as no unified evaluation method and the complex and confused choice of the acupuncture points.objectiveTo observe the effect of acupuncture on anxiety of work injury patients, provide reliable evidences for clinical research on the standardized treatment plan.MethodsAccorded with the diagnostic standard of anxiety,60 cases were randomly divided into 2 groups, the treatment group and the control group. There are 30 cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with acupuncture, and the control group withPsychotherapy. Both groups were treated for 2 courses(15 days for 1 course, once a day). Comparing the scores of HAMA, HAMD, PSQI and the scores of main symptoms (fear, cognition, insomnia, tension, anxiety) before and afterthe every course.ResultsBy statistics analysis, After a 2-course treatment, in the the treatment group(29 cases),5 cases were cured,16 cases had marked effect, improvement in 4 cases,4 had no effect, the total effective rate was 86%;in the control group(28 cases),2 cases were cured,10 cases had marked effect, improvement in 8 cases,8 had no effect, the total effective rate 71%. The difference between two group have statistieal signifieanee(P<0.05).This prompt that the effeetive of the treatment group is better than the control group.2. After the first course, the scores of HAMA, HAMD, PSQI and the scores of main symptoms were decreased. The differences of two groups have statistieal signifieanee(P<0.05). After the second course, the changes of scores of HAMA, HAMD, PSQI and the scores of insomnia, tension, anxiety were significant (P<0.05). but the difference between the two groups in the scores of fear, cognition don’t have statistieal signifieanee. (P>0.05)ConelusionsAfter two courses treatment, in both groups, scores of the HAMA, HAMD, PSQI and the scores of the main symptom scores were decreased, it prompt that Acupuncture and psychotherapy has a good curative effect for anxiety. And the acupuncture has a better effect in the change of the scores of the HAMA, HAMD, PSQI and the scores of insomnia, tension, anxiety.
