Then we collected and analized the related information.Results1. This study collected 112 cases (68 males,46 females) and the age-bracket was from 1 to 79 years old and the average was 20.15±12.27 years old. There were 6 cases of infant,22 cases of childhood and 84 cases of youth and adulthood.2. The average hospitalization time was 11.63±6.72 days, it showed a clear downward trend and had a statistically significant difference (P<0.05) for the past ten years. The average hospitalization cost was 7,903.26±4,353.25 RMB. There were 27 cases onset in spring,19 in summer,44 in autumn and 22 in winter. The minimum age of the first onset was one month old and the maximum age was 79 years old, the average was 8.59±9.77 years old. The shortest duration of case was 3 days and the longest duration of case was 70 years, the average was 11.66±10.43 years.88 cases felt severe itching,23 cases felt moderate itching,1 case felt mild itching.76 patients had other allergic diseases, and the rhinitis which accounted for 48 cases was the most.68 patients had a family history of allergic disease, and rhinitis which accounted for 48 cases was the most too.3. According to the frequency from more to less, the condition of the tongue and the pulse successivesly was red (the red tip of the tongue), pink, dark red, yellow and greasy(yellow and thin greasy), yellow(thin yellow), white and greasy (white and thin greasy), thin white, rapid pulse, taut pulse, slippery pulse and thin pulse. Most commonly saw symptoms were the heart with spleen mixed hot and humid, rheumatic fever trapped, blood deficiency wind dry, spleen deficient with wet aggregates, etc.4.55 cases had clearly skin infection, staphylococcus aureus infection rate was 91%. There was 80% cases’ eosinophil count and 88% cases’ serum total IgE were raised. Allergens positive detection rate was 89.5%, most of them were belong to inhaled allergens.5. Among those cases,1 case was treated by pure Chinese medicine and 111 cases were treated by combination therapy of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, the total effective rate was 88%. Compared hospital discharge with hospital admission, the IGA score of patients decreased obviously. Chinese medicine, antihistamines, glucocorticoids and skin moisturizer were the main treatment drugs. It also was hooked with calcium supplements, vitamin C, anti-infective drugs, immunomodulatory drugs, Chinese medicine, wet solution, ultraviolet irradiation, acupuncture, etc.Conclusions1. Hospitalized patients with atopic dermatitis were most onset in summer. They were often associated with other allergic diseases or family history of allergic diseases, which associated with allergic rhinitis and asthma. They were in a bad way, most of them felt severe itching. The main source of skin infection was staphylococcus aureus. Eosinophil count and serum total IgE were mostly raised. Inhaled allergens was the main allergens.2. "Damp and hot" were the important factors for patients with AD to relapse and exacerbation. "Clearing heat and promoting dieresis" was an important method of Chinese medicine in the treatment of AD, heat-clearing drugs, dehumidification medicine, tonify deficiency medicine, dispel wind drug, etc were main kinds of common drugs used in traditional Chinses medicine treatment of AD.3. The method of combining traditional Chinese and western medicine was widely used in the treatment of AD patients and had a good curative effect, it was worth to further study.4. In order to standardize the diagnosis, treatment and evaluate the effect of AD, the SCORAD should be increased in specialized examination.5. The Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Guangdong Province did well in reducing the average hospitalization time and controlling hospitalization expense, which laid a foundation for the implementation of clinical pathway.
