Purpose:to study the clinical effect of two different treatment methods for early enterocutaneou fistula. Methods:included in the paper is a retrospective analysis of 68 early enterocutaneou fistula patients who, admitted or transferred to our hospital between January,2010 and December,2014, received early treatment. The 68 patients are divided into two groups:early-deterministic-operation (for observation) and conservative treatment (for contrast). And a comparison is drawn between the two groups in terms of the average hospitalization cost, time for fistula anastomosis, dressing frequency, recovered liquid quantity of intestinal fistula, time for out-of-bed activity, average hospital stay, feedback of postoperative pain, preoperative and postoperative levels of 1d,3d, and 7d serum proteins, peristomal infection rate, and the incidence of urinary tract infection, pneumonia, and high serum amylase. Results:there are statistical differences (P<0.05) between the early-deterministic-operation group (or group for observation) and conservative treatment group (or group for contrast) in the postoperative healing index, hospital stay, hospitalization cost, postoperative 3d and 7d serum proteins and postoperative complications, but no significant statistical difference (P>0.05) in cure rate. Conclusion:early deterministic operationsare feasible for intestinal fistula patients, good perioperative management, right operation mode and good perioperative management can not only well maintain the physiological continuity of intestinal tractand effectively prevent fistula complications during treatment.
