Objective:(1)To assess weight changes of women within postpartum 2 years;(2)to descripte postpartum weight change trend within postpartum 2 years;(3)to provide reference for the promotion of women’s postpartum weight returned to pre-pregnancy levels. Methods: The women who attened postpartum examination on delivery 42 nd day in a district of Maternal and Child Health Center in Hefei were recruited as the participants of this history prospective cohort study. In the study of on postpartum 42 nd day baseline data was collected, while their weight and height were measured, BMI was acculated. Participants were followed up for 5 times on postpartum 42 nd day, in postpartum 6, 12, 18, 24 th month. The information on activities, breastfeeding, sleep durination, sedentary time and other behaviors were collected during follow-up investigation. Postpartum weight changes using statistical analysis of variance for repeated measurement data, the influencing factors of postpartum weight changes bivariate correlation analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis method.Results:(1) There were 418 participants in our study The average prepregnancy weight was(53.46 ± 6.70) kg, average of prenatal weight was(69.74 ± 8.22) kg, weight gain during pregnancy on average was(16.33 ± 5.26) kg. Mean weight retention were(7.14 ± 4.04) kg,(6.81 ± 5.02) kg,(5.19 ± 3.82) kg separately on postpartum 42 d, in postpartum 6m, 12 m. In postpartum 18 m, 24 m weight changes values(18m, 24 m weight- pre-pregnancy weight) separately were(5.35 ± 4.52) kg,(5.15 ± 3.68) kg. Subjects return to pre-pregnancy weight rates were 7.42%, 15.38%, 32.58%, 24.89%, 27.97% on postpartum 42 d, in postpartum 6m, 12 m, 18 m, 24 m.(2) Weight retention of pre-pregnancy BMI grouping women showed a decreasing trend during postpartum 42d~12m; postpartum weight changes showed an increasing trend during postpartum 12 ~ 24 m, and within the durinaton weight changes of overweight/obese women fluctuated obviously.(3) Weight gain during pregnancy is a major factor affecting on women postpartum weight changes within postpartum 2 years. 3 group’s weight changes were significantly different on postpartum 42 d, in postpartum 18 m, 24 m. Weight gain during pregnancy and weight changes was significantly correlated(P <0.01) at the postpartum 42 d, 18 m, 24 m.Pearson correlation coefficients were 0.635, 0.298, 0.341.(4) pre-pregnancy BMI, sleep durination, weight retention in postpartum 1 year are also important factors of postpartum weight changes within postpartum 2 years. Conclusion: controlling weight gain during pregnancy within a reasonable range, insisting postpartum on breastfeeding, having regular exercise and proper sleep durination can effectively promote woman to return to pre-pregnancy weight levels after delivery.
