Background and Objective: Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type of dementia, going with the increasing aging structure of society, dementia especially the increasing incidence of AD, the heat of dementia research growing Donatello, but we have not yet found an effective method for the treatment of dementia, so clinical workers hope to diagnose with dementia as early as possible, trying to delay its progress. With the progress of Neurology and recognizing of the structure and function of the brain, The scientist have advanced to the diagnosis of the ore-dementia stage-mild cognitive impairment(Mild cognitive impairment, MCI) stage. And then there have been scholars trying to explore the disease earlier, subjective cognitive impairment(subjective cognitive impairment, SCI) this concept ready. This study try to use CWT to find the index to distinguish SCI individuals from normal population.Materials and Methods: All were tested for general information questionnaire survey(age, gender, education level, etc.), background parapsychologist tests(MMSE, ADL, Geriatric Depression Scale, digit span, vocabulary memory, etc.), and executive function, namely Stroop color-word test(Stroop color-word test, CWT). Subjects were divided into two groups, the experimental group(SCI group) for 36 cognitive dysfunction chief complaint of the elderly, in the control group(Normal control, NC group) for 35 normal elderly.CWT final analysis indicators: the number of errors, the average reaction time, Stroop interference effects(SIE).SIE represent Reaction time difference between the reaction of which is the difference between consistent and inconsistent with the meaning of words and colors were used in the average responsetime. Comparison between the two groups each index, and the SCI group CWT results and memory scores and age-related analysis. Results: First, the two groups tested for general information(including sex ratio, age, educational attainment) and background parapsychologist tests( Mini-Mental State Examination, memory Scale) have no significant difference(P> 0.05). Second, compared with the NC group, the CWT income of SCI group, including the average reaction time, errors and SIE were significantly different(P <0.05). Third, the number of errors, the average response time shows no significant correlation with MMSE(overall cognitive function), education level, age, digit span, delayed recall. But the CWT(including number of errors, the average response time) of NC group showed a significant positive correlation(P <0.05) with age. SIE of SCI group was significantly than the NC group, the difference was statistically significant(P = 0.046 <0.05), regardless of the age difference, the overall cognitive function(MMSE) and the memory and other related tests. Conclusions The difference between NC group and SCI group in general parapsychologist examination has no statistical significant, but there are differences in the Stroop color word test(CWT) performance, and the differences were statistically significant. In distinguishing between normal aging and SCI population of CWT, STE is not affected by age, and there is a certain degree of sensitivity. It can be used as an independent indicator of the SCI. When SCI occurs we can predict whether cognitive is going to decline or take measures for intervention.
