ObjectiveTo observe the effect of "Puer plant antifungal solution"(PPAS) on anti-inflammatory effects in mice and explore its possible mechanism.MethodsThe mice were divided into normal group, model group (distilled water), positive group (dexamethasone), experimental group (PPAS), negative group (50% alcohol) randomly. The mouse ear edema and ear contact dermatitis was induced by croton oil and dinitrochlorobenzene(DNCB). In the ear edema experiment, mouse auricle swelling degree and serum TNF-levels was detected; in the contact dermatitis experiment, observe the inflammatory ear’s scabbing, detect the inflammatory ear’s thickness increases value, detect mice’ears weight difference and serum IL-4, IL-12.Results1. In the ear edema experiment, positive group and experimental group of auricle swelling degree and serum TNF-a were lower than model group and negative group.2. In the contact dermatitis model experiment, the number of scab in the model group and negative group were higher than the positive group and experimental group; auricular thickness increased and the two ear weight difference, positive group and experimental group were obviously lower than the model group and negative group; the serum IL-12 level of positive group and experimental group were higher than that of model group, the serum IL-4 levels of positive group and experiment group were lower than that in the model group and negative group.ConclusionThe PPAS can effectively inhibit croton oil induced ear swelling of mice, the inhibitory mechanism may be related to the decrease of inflammatory serum TNF-levels; PPAS can effectively inhibit the mice ear contact dermatitis, the possible inhibition mechanisms is relate to increasing the serum level of IL-12 and decrease the level of IL-4.
