Objective:To explore the expression of IL-17 and IL-22 in HBV related liver diseases and evaluate the significance. Methods:Whole vein blood was obtained from healthy control(HC)(n=25) and experimental groups including the patients with asymptomatic hepatitis B carrier (ASC) (n=30), chronic hepatitis B (CHB) (n=40), hepatitis B cirrho-sis(LC)(n=45),hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) (n=30). The level of serum IL-17 and IL-22 were analysed by ELISA. It should be analyzed the correlation bet-ween serum IL-17 and ALT,also need same analysis for serumIL-22 and ALT, respectively. Analysis the correlation between IL-17,IL-22 level and AFP level in HCC group. Results:The level of serum EL-17 in HCC patients group was significantly increased compared with the other groups and healthy control. The differences were statistically significant(P=0.000). The level of serum IL-17 had no signifi-cant difference between the ASC, CHB, LC group and the healthy control (P> 0.05). There were no correlation between the levels of IL-17 and ALT (r=0.267). The level of serum IL-22 in the CHB group,LC group, and the HCC group were higher than that in the healthy control (P=0.010,0.003,0.000). The level of serum IL-22 had no significant difference between the ASC patients group and the control group(P>0.05). There were no relationship between ALT and serum IL-22 (i=0.201). There were no correlation between the levels of IL-17 and AFP in peripheral blood of HCC(r=0.301). There were no correlation between the levels of IL-22 and AFP in peripheral blood of HCC(r=0.148).Conclusion:IL-17 may contributed to the occurrence and the development of HBY related hepatocellular carcinoma. IL-22 may involved in the immune-logical process of HBV-related liver deseases. IL-17,IL-22 may have no correlation with AFP.
