Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of color doppler ultrasonnic surface localization on radial artery puncture catheter. Methods Sixty paitents scheduled for surgical procedures and general anesthesia were equally randomized into two groups:color doppler ultrasonnic surface localization group(group B), which radial artery were marked on surface with a skin marker guided by the color doppler ultrasonnic. and touch positioning group(group C). The puncture success rate and the puncture time were recorded. Results The one time achievement ratios of groupB was significantly higher (80%)compared with the group C[54.3%,(P<0.05)].Compared with group C,the one time achievement time was shorter in group B [25.9±8.4 vs 31.9±7.4s (P<0.05)],and also the puncture time[44.6±38s vs 69.2±48.6s (P< 0.05)].Conclusion The color doppler ultrasonnic surface localization centesis can increased the one time achievement ratios, the one time achievement time and the puncture time on radial artery puncture catheter.
