Abstract/Summary:
Background and Objective Myocardial bridge, as a kind of independent coronary artery lesions, can cause a variety of diseases of the cardiovascular system and even adverse cardiovascular events, even sudden death. For patients with myocardial bridge,if drug treatment could not be effective, Percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) or Surgery treatment sould be considered.According to the research in recent years, PCI may not caught a good treatment effect. The surgical treatment of myocardial bridge mainly including myocardial lysis and coronary artery bypass grafting. This article summarizes the clinical features of myocardial bridge.and investigate the clinical efficacy of coronary artery bypass grafting in the treatment of myocardial bridge. Methods Twenty-eirht patients(13 male,15 female), underwent surgical treatment in The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University From June 2008 to April 2014 were included in this study. Systolic stenosis of coronary artery myocardial bridge was 70%-95% according to preoperative comnary angiography. There are 5 cases with congenital heart disease,4 complicated with heart valve diseases, 11 complicated with isolated myocardial bridge,8 complicated with coronary artery heart disease.10 cases underwent coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG) and 18 cases underwent off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting(OPCAGB).23 cases with left internal mammary artery and 5 cases with saphenous vein.Result There was 1 case death caused by Postoperative myocardial infarction,1 case got stenocardia in 6 month after operation, which was cured with medicine treatment. There was no other operative complication. Significant improvement in myocardial ischemia was observed in ECG. Ventricular wall motion was improved in 20 cases. no anastomotic stenoses was observed with coyonary artery CT after 3-6 months in 21 cases. Conclusion Coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG) is satisefactory for patients with more than 70% systolic stenosis of the coronary artery myocardial bridge or patients with major adverse cardiac events.
