Objective: With the rate of population-aging is accelerating as well as living standard increasing, the incidence of cerebral stroke is also increasing each year. World Health Organization survey showed: Incidence of cerebral stroke in China ranked first in the world, And also, cerebral stroke has been as the first cause of death in China. n addition to cerebral stroke itself, the complications threaten quality of life for patients. Urinary incontinence is one of the serious complications of cerebral stroke. Meanwhile urinary incontinence will cause tremendous psychological pressure for patient so that reduce the patients self-confidence, social activity patients with, thus affect seriously the quality of life for patients. This paper aims to explore and study the risk factors in patients with urinary incontinence after stroke, provide the basis for clinical treatment. Methods: 202 people in total hospitalized stroke neurological department of internal medicine were selected in a triple A hospital in Shijiazhuang, it was divided into two groups according to the voiding situation into urinary incontinence and non urinary incontinence,(72 urinary incontinence patients, 130 urinary non-incontinence patients). General information collected for each patient,(includinggender, age, marriage, occupation, resident, education background, BMI index, smoking, drinking) diseases(aphasia, disease history, stroke type, stroke location, state of consciousness), GCS, living skills and social support and other content, the difference between these two groups were compared to various factors, a general analysis of urinary incontinence and related factors, review and summarize risking factors for urinary incontinence after stroke.Results:1 The study showed that the incidence of urinary incontinence after stroke patients was 35.6%.2 Analysis for single factor showed that higher age, widowed divorced, living in rural areas, BMI was too high or too low, aphasia, hypertension, self-care ability is low, poor social support were the risking factors of urinary incontinence. There is no significant difference in gender, occupation type(such as physical labor, mental labor), diabetes, coronary heart disease, with previous stroke(cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage) between two groups.3 Multivariate analysis showed: higher age, aphasia, lesion location, GCS are risking factors for urinary incontinence after stroke. Conclusion: Cerebral stroke patients hospitalized urinary incontinence disease incidence rate is high, it must be taken seriously by doctor and members of family. In this paper, higher age, widowed divorced, living in rural areas, BMI was too high or too low, aphasia, hypertension, self-care ability is low, poor social support low objective support, subjective support are likely related to the occurrence of urinary incontinence after stroke.
