| Objectives:Based on the level of CEA and CA125 in the peritoneal lavage fluid in the patients with gastric carcinoma before the operation, the thesis analyzes its connections with clinical pathologic factors, pathologic stages and PLC, and then discusses the value of the technology in predicting micrometastasis of gastric carcinoma.Research Methods:The peritoneal lavage fluid from 51 patients with gastric carcinoma would be collected, which would be divided into two groups:some are analyzed with electro-chemiluminescence immunoassay to determine the level of CEA and CA125, and the other are examined with centrifugal sediment smears of the peritoneal lavage fluid and hematoxylin-eosin staining to carry out PLC. Besides, the peritoneal lavage fluid from 18 patients with benign lesions would be collected as negative controls and then detected with the same method. Results:The level of CEA and CA125 correlates with PLC, pathological characteristics and pathological stages. CEA and CA125 are relatively high in patients with positive PLC result, and they are also high in the patients with bad pathological characteristics and patients at the late pathological stage. Conclusion:The detection of the level of CEA and CA125 in the peritoneal lavage fluid in the patients with gastric carcinoma before the operation can be used to predict micrometastasis of gastric carcinoma. |
